RTK is centimetre-accurate satellite positioning. The mower knows where it is to within two centimetres — same paths every cycle, no buried boundary wire, no missed strips. LiDAR is the laser-based obstacle-avoidance system: fallen branches, garden hoses, sleeping dogs, kids' bikes — the system stops or routes around. Together they're the dividing line between a robotic toy for a quarter-acre lawn and an autonomous system that actually handles acreage.
Two parts. You BUY the autonomous mowing system outright. RTK base, mower, professional install, boundary mapping. From there, AutoAcre handles ongoing operation under a monthly MANAGEMENT fee that scales with mowable acreage. We quote it after a site assessment. Maintenance, blades, firmware, monitoring. Twice-weekly summer mowing, weekly winter — about three times a fortnightly contractor. The system is yours; the service is ours.
Engineered for 2.5 to 10 acre acreage — premium lifestyle properties, rural residential estates, larger landowners. Below 2.5 acres, a consumer wire-bounded mower is usually a better fit. Beyond ten acres, scoped as commercial deployments and quoted individually.
