Privacy Policy

AutoAcre is committed to protecting your personal information. This policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, how we use it, and your rights under the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).

1. Who we are

AutoAcre is a sole-trader business operated by Ben Bonifant, providing autonomous mowing systems and managed acreage maintenance services across the Northern Rivers, NSW. In this policy, "AutoAcre", "we", "us" and "our" refer to that business. Contact details for privacy enquiries are at the bottom of this page.

2. What personal information we collect

We collect personal information that you provide directly when you interact with the site or our services, including:

  • Contact details: name, email address, phone number, postal address.
  • Property information: property address, acreage, terrain notes, photos and any access details you share when requesting a site assessment, demo or quote.
  • Calculator inputs: if you choose to share results from the cost calculator, the inputs you entered (acres, postcode, terrain, frequency, contractor cost) along with your name and email.
  • Communications: the content of messages, voicemails and emails you send to us.

We also collect technical information automatically when you use the site:

  • Log and analytics data: IP address, device type, browser, pages visited, referring URLs, approximate location based on IP. This data is collected via standard server logs and any analytics tools we use (such as Google Analytics).
  • Cookies and similar technologies: see Section 6 below.

3. How we collect it

We collect information directly from you when you submit forms (site assessment, quote, demo, calculator lead capture, contact emails), call us, or otherwise interact with our services. Technical data is collected automatically by our hosting provider (Netlify) and any analytics services in use.

4. Why we collect it and how we use it

5. Who we share it with

We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information. We may share it with:

  • Equipment suppliers if specific configuration details are needed for your installation.
  • Legal and regulatory authorities where we're required by law.

We require any service providers handling your information to do so in line with this policy.

6. Cookies and analytics

This website may use cookies and similar technologies to remember your preferences, measure traffic and improve the experience. Where third-party analytics tools (such as Google Analytics) are used, anonymised IP and usage data is sent to those providers under their own privacy terms. You can disable cookies in your browser settings; some site features may not work as expected if you do.

We take reasonable steps to protect your personal information from misuse, interference, loss, unauthorised access, modification and disclosure. Information is stored on secure cloud infrastructure (typically located in Australia or other regions with comparable privacy protections).
